Website privacy notice
Effective 23 August 2026
Overview
This notice explains how Taste POS handles personal information collected through this public website, including demo and contact requests. It does not describe information processed inside a customer’s deployed Taste POS service; that processing is governed by the applicable customer agreement and deployment arrangements.
Information we collect
When you contact us or request a demo, we collect the details you submit, such as your name, work email, business name, phone number, venue type, location count and message. We may also record limited technical information such as browser user-agent data for security and troubleshooting.
How we use information
We use this information to respond to your request, understand your business needs, arrange demonstrations, prepare proposals, protect the website from misuse and maintain a record of our communication. Where required, we rely on consent, steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests or another applicable legal basis.
Retention, security and your rights
We keep enquiries only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations and legitimate business records. We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, although no online system can promise absolute security.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, and to complain to a relevant data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Contact and updates
For a privacy question or request, email privacy@tastepos.app. We may update this notice as the website, our services or legal requirements change; the effective date above shows the latest revision.
